Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma expressed disappointment at the backlash from the Leader of Opposition Dr Mukul Sangma over areas left out when resolving the six areas of differences, and stated that the former chief minister should question himself since he was part of this process.
Refusing to comment on whether the actions of the former chief minister were a political gimmick, Conrad Sangma said that they have only acted based on the report that the former CM submitted in 2011 with the list of areas of differences in 23 villages.
“Therefore, if he’s today questioning the resolution and solution and saying why did those villages or why are those villages left out, I think he’s questioning himself and the work that he did or work he did not do of including those villages at that point,” stated Sangma.
He added that it was quite sad that the former CM Mukul Sangma is doing this and should look back and review the results.
