BJP takes out ‘Zubeen Garg Nyay Yatra’ in Assam’s Nalbari

The Assam Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on October 22 organised a mass rally demanding justice for the state’s cultural icon, Zubeen Garg.

Organised by the party’s Nalbari District Committee, the rally began from the Shaheed Mukunda Kakati Bus Stand and moved through the streets of the town before concluding at the Gordon Higher Secondary School playground.

As per members of the party, the rally witnessed the participation of nearly 50,000 people, including prominent leaders, party workers, and supporters.

Member of Parliament and State BJP President Dilip Saikia, Union Minister of State and Rajya Sabha member Pabitra Margherita, state cabinet minister Jayanta Malla Baruah, and senior BJP leader Chandra Mohan Patowary joined the participants in marching through the streets of Nalbari, carrying BJP flags and calling for a fair investigation into the circumstances surrounding the celebrated singer’s death.
