Ranjana Pradhan, a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Yoga Instructor now based in Cambodia, has issued an emotional message of support to her daughter currently participating in the ongoing protests in Nepal.

Drawing from over a decade of experience in women’s health and wellness, Pradhan expressed deep concern for her daughter’s safety while also standing in solidarity with the youth leading the movement.

In her message, Pradhan acknowledged the courage and resilience of the younger generation, saying, “Thank you for being sensitive and responsible and communicating to me regularly through texts, videos, or calls and letting me know you’re fine. I see you. I hear you and I can feel the weight of what you and your generation are carrying right now.”

She praised the youth’s intentions, stating, “As far as I remember, all you wanted was a peaceful campaign or call for honesty, accountability, and a much-needed reform in the country. But sadly your voices went to deaf ears.” She further highlighted their strength and empathy: “Your generation is strong. Your generation is smart and sensitive. As your mother, I stand beside you.”

Pradhan’s message comes at a time when Nepal’s youth have mobilized in unprecedented numbers to protest against government corruption, economic instability, and perceived governance failures. Demonstrations, largely peaceful but at times met with force, have drawn attention to the frustrations of a generation that feels ignored and unheard. Protesters are demanding reforms aimed at creating greater accountability, addressing inequality, and ensuring democratic participation.

The protests, which have continued despite arrests and media restrictions, are driven by a desire for systemic change. For many families, including Pradhan’s, the movement is not merely political—it is personal.

She concluded, “Today, I walk with you. I support you with hope, with faith, and with the same dream of Nepal that I always dreamt of—where the voices of children are heard. Good luck and stay safe. Stay strong.”

Pradhan’s message underscores how the struggles of youth resonate across borders, and how parental support remains a source of strength even from afar. It stands as a reminder that the fight for justice is rooted in love, responsibility, and a shared vision for a better future.
