Aizawl: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mizoram unit has issued an appeal to churches across the state, urging the faithful to unite in prayer for the Indian soldiers who are currently on the frontlines, defending the nation.
In a statement, the BJP officials expressed pride in the bravery and resilience of the Indian armed forces, particularly in light of a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
They highlighted the soldiers’ strong defence stance, reaffirming their commitment to protecting the sovereignty of India.
“The Indian soldiers have shown remarkable courage and dedication in the face of adversity,” the statement read. “Their unwavering resolve reflects the integrity and greatness of our nation.”
At the same time, the BJP called on all Mizos to join in prayer for the soldiers’ safety, emphasising that many Mizos serve in the Indian Army. The party urged those who worship God to seek divine protection for the brave men and women risking their lives for the country’s security.
