The Assam down town University (AdtU) has hosted a successful swimming championship on August 29, 2024. The event was held for boys and girls, with a total of eight events taking place.
The championship saw 1st Nivar Nitin Krow of Boys’ 50m Backstroke event, 2nd Nihal Hazarika, 3rd Wasbir Rahman, 1st Nirm Nilim Kraw of Boys’ 50m Butterfly event, 2nd Nayanmoni Das, 3rd Kirti Kamal Hazarika, 1st Anika Aziza of Girls’ 50m Butterfly event, 2nd Reema Limbu, 3rd Urshita Malakar, 1st Nahar Das of Boys’ 50m Breaststroke event, 2nd Tanmoy Rabha, 3rd Jyotiraditya Medhi, 1st Luna Bania of Girls’ 50m Breaststroke event, 2nd Shruti Hazarika, 3rd Monjita Saikia, 1st Nahar Das of Boys’ 50m Freestyle event, 2nd Nihar Hazarika, 3rd Hrishikesh Malakar, 1st Reema Limbu of Girls’ 50m Freestyle event, 2nd Shruti Hazarika, 3rd Monjita Saikia.
“Sports are an integral part of our curriculum at AdtU,” said official of Assam down town University.
“We believe that events like these help build character, discipline and camaraderie among our students. We will continue to organize such events to promote a culture of excellence in sports and academics.”
