Guwahati: Guwahati-based ODIIN Experiences has been named Nightclub of the Year 2026 (East) at the ET Hospitality World Restaurant & Nightlife Awards, held at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi.

The award comes just seven months after the entertainment venue opened its doors, marking a recognition for Guwahati’s growing luxury hospitality and nightlife sector.

Spread across 20,000 square feet and three levels, ODIIN combines dining, nightlife and private entertainment spaces. Its facilities include private rooms, a main hall for DJ performances and live acts, a rooftop dining area with a pickleball court, and a private bar.

The venue was conceptualised by its founding team, drawing inspiration from Norse mythology and the television series Vikings. Its design and branding reflect the theme, which also informs its guest communications and beverage programme.

ODIIN’s opening night featured actor Shibani Akhtar and a live performance by Sufi ensemble Swaraag. More than 600 guests attended the event, according to the company.

The venue also features an audio system from Italian manufacturer Outline and automated lighting technology from Kinetics and Hibec. Its signature mixology programme has also attracted attention, with actor Vikrant Massey reportedly praising the venue’s offerings at a recent conference.

“This is a tremendous boost for our team and our narrative-driven approach. We trusted our instincts to give Guwahati the world-class experiences it deserves. With the region seeing a surge in concerts, migration, consumerism and luxury hospitality, this is only the beginning,” said Shivani Singh, chief people and community officer at ODIIN Experiences.

The venture builds on the group’s hospitality experience, which began with PIAZZA, a Guwahati dining establishment launched in 2016. The group said ODIIN represents its latest effort to expand experiential hospitality in India.
