Rinima Borah Agarwal, a social entrepreneur and women’s empowerment advocate, has been named a semi-finalist in the Mrs. India Inc pageant. Agarwal, founder of the women’s wear brand Miss Momo, is using the platform to amplify her message of resilience and self-belief.
Agarwal’s journey to this point has been marked by determination and a commitment to overcoming challenges. Born into difficult circumstances in a small village in Assam, she faced financial hardship and the responsibility of supporting her family. Despite these obstacles, she prioritized her education and went on to work at Dell for 17 years.
Fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to challenge outdated beauty standards, Agarwal founded Miss Momo. The brand, Miss Momo, celebrates the strength and uniqueness of real women, challenging outdated beauty standards and offering a platform for them to feel confident and empowered.
A wife and a guardian to her nephew, Agarwal skillfully balances her personal and professional life. Her experiences, including overcoming domestic violence, have fueled her passion for advocacy. “Participating in Mrs. India Inc is more than just a competition for me; it’s an opportunity to be a voice for those who feel unheard,” says Agarwal. “I want every woman to know that their dreams are valid and achievable.”
Through her participation in the pageant, Agarwal aims to reach a wider audience and inspire women to break free from societal constraints. She believes in fostering a community of support and encouragement among women, stating, “Together, we can break barriers and redefine what it means to be a woman in today’s world.”
