LPG Price hike

The price of a 14.2 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder has fallen to Rs 852.00 from Rs 856.00 on April 1, 2024. However, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder remains high at Rs 1,971.00.

The state government has implemented a policy of adjusting the price of LPG cylinders every month based on the international crude oil market. The government hopes that this policy will help align the domestic fuel prices with the global energy trends.

The recent price adjustment of LPG cylinders has had a significant impact on the budget of households and businesses in Guwahati. The government expects that this move will help stabilize the energy market and mitigate the impact of global price volatility on consumers.
