Arunachal: Two NSCN-U cadres surrender, reunite with families

Guwahati: In a collaborative effort, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Arunachal Pradesh Police successfully facilitated the return of two “misguided” NSCN (U) cadres.

As per the PRO Defence of Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur, the two individuals, who had been drawn into inimical organisations, were safely reunited with their families.

The operation was coordinated by the Army and Assam Rifles, along with the Deputy Commissioner of Changlang and Changlang Police. Working closely with the families of the cadres, the authorities ensured their safe return.

The two individuals were handed over to their respective families in the presence of officials.

The PRO said that the event highlighted the resilient efforts of the security forces to guide misguided youth back to the mainstream, offering them opportunities to contribute positively to nation-building.
