Dimapur trade body questions legality of taxation by Naga groups

Dimapur: Amid the indefinite shutter down across Nagaland due to rampant taxation by Naga Political Groups (NPGs), the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) wrote to the Chief Minister, questioning the legality of such taxation.

Submitting a “charter of demands”, the DCCI sought the urgent attention of the CM on their grievances.

The DCCI sought a clarity on whether the taxation imposed by Naga Political Groups (NPGs) is legal or illegal.
