A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday between the Director of Zoram Medical College & Hospital (ZMC&H), Falkawn, and Malati Makar, Senior Manager (HR–CSR), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), AOD State Office, for the provision of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance.

Under the MoU, IOCL will provide CSR support amounting to ₹62.38 lakh for the procurement of critical medical equipment for Zoram Medical College & Hospital. The assistance will be utilised for the purchase of an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance, a diathermy machine and C-Arm equipment. These additions are expected to significantly enhance the hospital’s emergency response, diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

The Director of ZMC&H expressed sincere appreciation to IOCL for its continued commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region, stating that the support would greatly benefit patients and improve the overall quality of medical services.

Malati Makar reiterated Indian Oil’s dedication to community welfare through its CSR initiatives, highlighting the organisation’s sustained focus on healthcare support and public well-being.
