Imphal: Manipur recorded 425 cases of COVID-19 and one death on Saturday. With the new cases, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state stands at 1,32,581 and the death toll at 2,038.
At present, the active cases in the state stand at 3,934, of which 1,396 are in home isolation.
The new cases were reported from Imphal West (187), Imphal East (98), Churachandpur (31), Thoubal (29), Bishnupur (19), Kakching (11), Chandel (8), Ukhrul (6), Kangpokpi (5), Senapati (4), Tengnoupal (3), Jiribam (2) and Kamjong (2).
The person who passed away was from Imphal East district and had co-morbidities, but was fully vaccinated, additional health director Dr K Sasheekumar Mangang said.
In the last 24 hours, 294 people were discharged and the recovery rate currently stands at 95.50%.
